SAP Customer Connection and Idea Place
... programs are directed at incrementally improving the products and solutions our customers are using today. They involve Users submitting and prioritizing improvement requests online on a product or a component of a product, and SAP evaluating the requests for being developed.
SAP Customer Connection
Typically initiated by SAP User groups and special interest groups, SAP Customer Connection Focus Topics are of limited duration and often focus on a version, component or audience of a product. Improvements are mostly delivered in Notes or SP for easier consumption.
... is a structured approach for close end-to-end collaboration between customers and SAP teams during the full development cycle for planned products and solutions and new releases or enhancement packages. SAP Customer Engagement Initiative offers an opportunity for customers to influence SAP development in collaboration with their peers. This helps SAP create products and solutions that meet our customers' needs, reflect best business practices and realize process and technology innovations.
SAP Beta Testing is designed for customers that are interested in working with SAP to validate and experience our up-coming solutions. Working closely with the SAP team, participants are able to review solutions that are not yet released to the market, test the solutions based on their business processes and requirements, and provide feedback for future releases.
Access to the solutions is provided under a test and evaluation agreement (TEA) and can be used for testing purposes only. Productive usage is not allowed and is not supported under the maintenance and support agreement.

SAP Early Adopter Care connects customers with products and innovations to help them simplify, innovate, and digitize – fast. The services gives our customers a direct channel to SAP with the support of the SAP Early Adopter Care project lead, enabling two-way communication, improving transparency, and allowing stakeholders to react to and minimize project risk. At the same time, SAP Early Adopter Care can help improve SAP products, drive company strategy to increase adoption, and better serve all SAP customers.
